Travelling to Limassol by Air

Limassol is located on the Akrotiri Bay, on the southern coast of Cyprus, the unique position of the island makes it very convenient for visitors to get there by air, Larnaca and Paphos are the two main international airports in Cyprus.

Larnaca International Airport

Larnaca International Airport buzzes with activity during May to November and is situated 70kms away from Limassol, this small but sophisticated airport provides facilities like cafes, newsagents, exchange bureau and other shops. A short term car parking facility is also available which is charged on a hourly basis, taxi's and intercity buses can be caught just outside the terminal.

Paphos International Airport

Paphos International Airport is also 70kms from Limassol, this single terminal airport offers limited facilities, though there are fast food restaurants and some duty free shops. There is also ATMs and an exchange bureau are available but with limited banking facilities, car parking is located near the terminal and Taxis and buses are also available.

Travelling to Limassol by sea

The location of Cyprus Island makes it easily accessible by sea, being the biggest port in the island, Limassol Port has attained the position of receiving the maximum percentage of all passenger watercrafts, travelling by ferry is a great way of reaching Limassol, the best part about taking a ferry trip is not only the convenience but also about the wonderful views.

Situated on the western side of Limassol Town, this port offers all the facilities of a modern international passenger port, the facilities include cafeteria, comfortable waiting lounges for passengers, banks, and duty free shops. To provide tourists with the necessary information there is a tourist information centre, ferry services are wide spread, you can catch ferries to Cyprus from Israel, Greece, Egypt and the Greek Islands.
